Hey if you want to group the mail coming from say fsug-tvm

1.goto "edit labels" type a new name like "fsug-tvm" and create it.

2.then select the filters tab in click on create a new filter
there will be many criteria like
from:
to:
subject
have the words:
doesnt have:
#this options helps you to filter the mail from a particular
mailid"eg:[email protected] ", subject eg:"[fsug-tvm]" or the
contents having some keywords like "linux"
3)As i would like to group by subjects i typed in "fsug-tvm" in subject field.

"subject:[fsug-tvm]"

4)you can make a test whether its working or not by clicking "test search"

5)If you like it you can proceed by click "next step"


6)After clicking the "next step" you can choose the action to be
performed on the filtered messages.
like you can
->skip it from inbox and archive it which can be downloaded and read later.
->star it
->apply to the label eg:"fsug-tvm" to move there
->forward the filtered mails to some [email protected]
->delete the filtered messages.

7)I choose to "apply to label" and click "create filter".
8) its done enjoy
