If I am making a new website and I take proper care of standards then I will make a website which is compatible with all HTML5 and CSS3 standards and fall back gracefully when the proper browser is not present.
For example, there are codes like 'Video For Everybody' which is upto all the latest standards and simultaneously fall back gracefully to flash player if the browser is not compatible with our formats. For learning the basic techniques for this I would suggest to have a look at diveintohtml5.org. -- Cheers Abhishek 9958003242 Innovate --> Collaborate --> Succeed -- l...@iitd - http://tinyurl.com/ycueutm
