hi all, i recently changed my laptop's OS from Ubuntu 9.10 to Ultimate edition 2.7. There seems to be problem in the GNOME power manager.
In my power mangement settings, i have set the computer to suspend when the lid is closed. However, whenever i close the lid, it doesnt go into suspension; rather than that the screen freezes n then i hav to power off n restart my comp. I was facing a similar problem in ubuntu 9.10. the same problem doesnt occur in windows though I hav searchd the net for a solution but cudnt find any.
