[LUG@IITD:9189] ubuntu ultimate sound problem

i have a laptop , compaq presario cq62 104 tu, when i installed ubuntu
ultimate 2.1 its sound does not work.
but with with the help of headphone the sound work. so what i have to
do please reply.
