www.facebook.com/username <http://www.facebook.com/username>)
Password: ...
Domain: chat.facebook.com <http://chat.facebook.com>
Resource: Whatever you want :P
In the next tab-
Server: chat.facebook.com <http://chat.facebook.com>
SSL: False
Plaintext: False
Save & Connect.
Nilesh , Techie like you make life == hell for normal users. Altough the
setting will work but why user has to do all these setting. Even if
somebody is a experience then also, one need to search or open some
webpage to enter these setting.
If user install facebook plugin then he/she will facebook in drop down
menu. all the need to enter his username and password.
I have observed so many such initial level hurdle for common persons and
configured schoolOS. SchoolOs has these plugins pre-installed.
Think for simplicity and not complexity.

You consider this hard?
Well, I've explained other non-geeky very new users who just migrated
from windows the same thing and they were able to configure it
successfully in the first attempt.
