FLOSSManuals are produced during 2-5 days writing sprint. Its like full time job. like minded person decide to something they do it in this manner. I like to see such sprint , lets says 4 people in Delhi like jQuery and they know how to code. luckily they got 3 full holidays and one venue. Now they can sit and code like anything, eating coding sleeping eating coding sleeping.. 3-4 days of such hard labor may produce better result rather then interacting on web and devoting free time on web. Because I see lots of distraction now a days. the rate of information flow on twitter/facebook is very high. year 2007 and year 2011 has lots of difference. the level of noise and distraction is much high. The idea to get assembled on a common roof for one particular task for 2-3 days/nights (or just days) will be nice. Now we have so many things to do. As a community , the first prime task I think that community should grow. Because there are many such guys exist they got to know about Linux/FOSS very late and realise that they have wasted a long time because nobody told them earlier (like me). India is a very county and ground level foss advocacy is needed. {I am not resisting other to work on other ideas, So if you are not doing this, that's ok, you must be doing something else}, As I mentioned in one thread that I need a digital camera where i can record lecture. dedicated team of 2-3 guys can produce a good amount of tutorial in 2-3 days. dedicated, collaborative & focused effort for 2-3 days is more effective then to 1 month of small small effort. One another thread, I have listed out various idea to reach at mass-level. like writing book in hindi.
