The students of NIT Durgapur, India<http://debayan.wordpress.com/2011/01/25/hiring-for-start-ups/nitdgp.ac.in>have come up with an interesting concept. The GNU/Linux Users’ Group there has been running an online judge for programming contests name “CodeCracker<http://codecracker.in/>” for sometime now. Having enjoyed a substantial amount of success in the number of participants over the years they decided to start looking for sponsors for the event. Nothing special there.
What is different though is that they want to bring start-ups and potential employees face-2-face. It is very difficult<http://www.swaroopch.com/blog/difficulty-hiring-startups-india/>to find good people for start-ups and this might be a way to solve that problem. Go ahead and read the details on the CodeCracker sponsors’ page<http://codecracker.in/sponsor.php>. They will be happy with any small amount for sponsorship. -- Debayan Banerjee Software Engineer -- LUG@IITD - http://tinyurl.com/ycueutm
