Yes Satya Sir,I would like to take initiative for the same,since i just have 3 more months before i graduate and moreover i have the support of some folks in the admin too.And i know that the information is listed on the web but i was hoping for some people to share their experiences since many of the members are either from the industry or experienced pros.So my idea is to use FOSS for the benefit of the college and involve 2nd or 3rd year students so as to introduce them to FOSS at the same time.You can call it a sort of FOSS for the students and by the students.I have noticed not many students are aware of FOSS,so this can be an ideal introduction for them.Only two days back,my TPO was saying that the MCA final year students were looking for ideas for their Final Year projects,so i am thinking that their involvement would be a double benefit.Hope you get the picture.
