My apologies for top posting. I realised, right after I had sent. I
thought it would be even more annoying for you guys to receive a
second "apology" e-mail, so I didn't send one.

Also, I guess ESR is credible enough. Why do you take issue with this?
I hope you are not adopting the position of "Only Free Software people
are credible, Open Source people are not." :)

In any case, I have only tried Debian and Fedora apart from Ubuntu, so
my feeling is that Ubuntu is more easier to use, for a recent entrant
into the FOSS world like me, than the other two :)
