I am no expert on licenses but the only consequence that I can think of is that people can have non-WTFPL (and non-GPL) derivative works, which, as long as you are okay with, might work for you. If you talk about GPL, the first line on wikipedia states [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_General_Public_License]: "The GPL is the first copyleft license for general use, which means that derived works can only be distributed under the same license terms."
