Friends, We are planning to organise the first HackNight in Delhi/NCR around the first week of April. Following is a short description of the same.
* HackNight would essentially comprise of a bunch of geeks,with some programming knowledge(or willingness to learn). * The geeks would gather at a predetermined date/time/venue and would work on a pre decided problem statement(s). * The problem statement(s) would be selected on the list via a public vote,from a list of suggested problems. * The suggestions and voting would last a week.After that the Problem Statement(s) with required skills,tools,etc. would be put up. * The next week would be a preparation week(4-5 days),in case someone is not well acquainted with the tools/language,etc. to be used. * Preparatory week's Saturday would be the HackNight. Please give your suggestions for the Problem Statement.A Problem Statement should ideally be: * Complex enough to be interesting. * Simple enough to be completed.(in one night!) Please post your suggestions in the format : 1. Title. 2. Skills/Toolsets required. 3. Description. An example : Problem Statement 1. Cryptosystem 2. Python or C++ 3. Create a cryptosystem using one or more of RSA,DES,Triple DES,AES algorithms.This cryptosystem can be used for encryption of files with moderate security level. P.S.
