IMHO,
If you are doing hacknight then I will strongly suggest to
have "Projects" first.

ONLINE
1) Everybody who is working on some project or want to work, Please
list down on our wiki page , Try Google code for example.
2) Other will join it. For example, I have done odp-view and many
other project and one can join them.
3) after some time, team building will be done and team member know
how to comit and do coding and collaborate online. This is very imp
because you will be clear at what to do

OFFLINE
1) Once venue has Internet connectivity, team member can sit and work,
Otherwise most of time will be wasted in figuring out
    a) WHAT to do
    b) How to collaborate.

This happened at some recent meetups..

2) Multiple team can sit at common venue , before starting the
hacknight team can give introduction to their projects and give the
progress report at morning time what what they have done overnight..

So Please List the projects on which you are working !

VENUE :
IITDelhi-WIND-T is one suitable place as we all can sit and work.
Once can create a ad-hoc wifi network using usb-modem which will be
good enough to do code commits and google search.
Ofcrouse, facebook and twitter and all other traffic have to be
blocked inorder to get productivity.
