hackers are good guys. They wear white hats. No need to mention the
colour of the hat - by definition it is white. That is my view.

your view: hackers may be good or bad, the 'good' hackers wear white
hats and the bad ones wear black hats.

my view: crackers are bad guys. They wear black hats. Some hackers, for
good intentions crack sites - they are white hat crackers.
