I am working on Live Network Data, The Problem is the network speed is very high , 1GBps data link, I have 48 GB RAM and 24 Core of CPU on system...
For processing such high speed , I have to optimise the system All I am running some shell scripts commands , May you give your thought on optimizing system ? 1) I will run my shell commands from tty and un-install all un-needed GUI 2) What should I do to increase the RAM utilization ? 3) How I can allocate some dedicated amount of RAM to a process ? 4) Many operations, I will do on RAM using tmpfs 5) Anycomment on Bash vs Python vs C++ coding ? right now my scripts work on bash and little bit of python 6) Any Linux Distro with comes with shell prompt ?
