Also, since I was comfortable with touch-typing already, I found their (dvzine) methodology to be more arduous. What I did back when I was switching was printed all keys of the keyboard on paper, cut them into small pieces and taped them to my laptop keyboard. I also had an old cherry-type keyboard where I plucked out all the keys and re-arranged them into dvorak layout. I found that I was able re-program my finger muscle memory fairly quickly this way.
