Hello everyone, As a follow up to our Ubuntu in Retail, I have been asked by a store in Nehru Place, Delhi if we can showcase Ubuntu. Here is my thoughts, let me know what you guys think. - Have 1-2 community members at the store to demo Ubuntu. - Have them wear Ubuntu T-Shirts so people perceive it to be professional. - Offer basic installation for free and charge for additional services. This should compare with other services in Nehru Place, where I believe you can go to a store and they will fill your hard drive with all windows software :) - If the customer wants training then this can be offered at their home at a fee. I am thinking we should offer similar services to what people are used to in the Windows world, I know this may not sound very comforting for some of us, but thats what people are used to ;-) Please send me a private email if anyone of you is interested in helping out at Nehru Place.
