Hello

I have Dell Studio.
I have been using ubuntu 10.10 from a long time with a perfect Wifi
Connection.
Recently i upgraded it to Ubuntu 11.04 and now the Wifi doesn't works.
These are the following things which i have tried, but still no luck.

My wifi card is :
04:00.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM43224 802.11a/b/g/
n (rev 01)

1. After installation i simply went to
System<Administration<Additional Drivers
There it showed me Broadcom STA Wireless driver. When i click on
Activate it shows the following error :
Sorry, installation of this driver failed.

Please have a look at the log file for details: /var/log/jockey.log

2. Further after looking for the solution i tried this :

sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source

and it says bcmwl-kernel-source is already the newest version.
But still it doesn't work.

3. Then i tried this :
Didn't try to activate fro the Additional Drivers.
