Hi..

I have a problem during ubuntu upgrade to 10.10. During upgrade process, the
power went off and my laptop shutdown after some time because of battery
discharge. After that, i reinitiated upgrade process, it restarted from the
state where it ended during shutdown.

There are six stages in upgrade process

 1. Fetching some configration files
2. Setting new software channels
3. Downloading packages (number in nearly 1400 packages)
4. Installing Packages
5. Clean up
6. Restart

The first two stages will be completed within very less time.

But in second stage, it is taking too much time and after that it is giving
hash sum mismatch error. It is giving the same error even i intiate again.

Now i want to clean up all the downloaded files, configuration files related
to upgrade process and restart again. Can any one help me on this? or can
anyone tell me how to continue to the upgrade process without deleting the
files?
