Personally speaking, I also find it a bit sad when people use Proprietary
systems at such a large confluence of Open Source enthusiasts. That being
said, the event was about the Python ecosystem and not about Operating
Systems. When the developers of the language itself made it OS-neutral, why
bother about such things. OS is a personal preference.

P.S. A speaker at the conf also had windows on his laptop. That is IMO a
matter of greater concern.
