+1, I think you still forgot the fact that, it is the only spoken
natural language in this world with unambiguous grammar. Panini
invented the system similar to Backus-Naur Form centuries back!
Linguistic wise it is the best language for the best communication and
even thinking.

Vocabulary and reach of the language limits the species' thinking
capacity. So making classical Sanskrit as a language for studies is
really worth it.
