I use Sony Vaio laptop (E series VPCEH25EN, i3 processor, 2GB RAM) and have
dual booting on my system. A fully charged battery runs Windows 7 for
around 3hours and the same runs Ubuntu 11.04 just for 50-60 minutes. Is
there any way out to optimise the battery power in Ubuntu ? Does Red Hat
provide better power management ?
One more query,I am not able to connect to the internet in Ubuntu 11.04
using Nokia X2 phone. Samsung phone is doing fine for the same purpose. Are
Nokia phones not supported in Ubuntu 11.04? I can connect to the internet
using the same phone in Windows 7. I also downloaded some applications from
Ubuntu software center meant for phones, but they are of no use.
Thanks in advance,
Amresh
