Peale never tired * Because they have already installed Ubuntu * They trust Ubuntu more than SchoolOS - irrespective of the fact that both were basically same * Name of Distro was not appealing * Maintaining the SchoolOS was difficult So Now I donot want to create a New Distro -- I just want to solve one problem for which schoolOS was created ie - Software Installation Problem SO This time I will try to Create a DVD version of Ubuntu - ie - Ubuntu + Extra Softwares - No logo change , NO name change, No wallpaper chang. No bug fix.. noting... It will be a DVD version of Ubuntu. So basically I will not create a new Distro.. I will try to get it approved by Ubuntu/Canonical Now, Instead of CD version , people can download a DVD. I will do a Extra thing - For those who have already installed Ubuntu CD, I will create a One 3-4GB executable file. Upon executing this file, It will install huge number of Software ! {basically a Mega-Giga offline package } All this I want to do so that "New Users" should never face any problem for Installing packages because of slow Internet. One he cross this problem he will face other problems which I am not solving here. After getting comfortable or kickstart with Ubuntu he/she can switch to Arch/Debian or customise it in better way ! -- ┌─────────────────────────┐ │ Narendra Sisodiya │ http://narendrasisodiya.com └─────────────────────────┘ -- Mailing list guidelines and other related articles: http://lug-iitd.org/Footer
