Hey,

Their are many sites doing it. Problem is that people are updating their
their blog using specific email ids, now they automate every email at that
specific id as blog post. And it is very hard to manually find those ids.
mintby is just an example.

As far as legality is concerned, I can't comment much. As every email is
attributed to their own writer (AFAIK).
