About this job

The company is part of a highly reputed Indian media group.  The company is
a leader in print business, and has rapidly scaled up its digital
operations in the past one year.  Currently, it is looking to enhance its
digital team.  The company has launched a B2B portal that is central to its
operations, and the job is about growing this portal. The job is that of
Product Architect, requiring both technical as well as product management
and marketing skills.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Be the single point of responsibility for all the aspects of the
company's portal
- Understand the customer & competitive landscape for B2B online space in
India
- Deliver business goals related to the portal by suitably translating them
into technical requirements and vice versa
- Conceptualize, evaluate and implement features on the portal that can
boost revenues from the portal at various stages of its growth
- Design and execute strategy to grow the product in various directions -
data, users, revenues, page views, unique visits, search engine
friendliness etc
- Drive engineering and operations team to grow the product
- Explore synergies from other IDIL digital products for any cross-selling
opportunities
- Execute marketing campaigns - both BTL and ATL - to create brand
awareness and usage
- To establish the portal as the thought leader in the B2B space by working
with internal/3rd party content teams and disbursing information
selectively across various relevant online and other communities

Job requirement

- Solid experience in shaping websites that fulfill client requirements and
revenue targets
- Expert understanding and knowledge of Drupal based systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Hunger to keep learning and staying up-to-date
