There is a simple scenario that I am facing. I tried to connect to a
remote server via sftp(which I always use) but due to above problem I was
not able to connect it then, I tried plain FTP and connected successfully
but I need to remove a file from that server but I cannot do that(but I can
put new files there). I am using the root credentials and using FileZilla
for this purpose.
If the port for FTP is open, why don't you run the ssh server on port 21 (obviously you can't have filezilla running simultaneously). You have indicated that you have root access on the server so that shouldn't be a problem.
SharadPS. @vivek, please trim down your posts, i.e., quote only a short (relevant) part of the mail you are replying to the way I have done.
