Hi Guys!

I am just more curios about Linux and want to dive in. I recently used
"top" command to see how much memory and CPU time is used by each process
and I got O/P something like this:

top - 18:19:30 up 11:00, 4 users, load average: 0.96, 0.80, 0.69
Tasks: 196 total, 2 running, 194 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie
Cpu(s): 8.9%us, 3.8%sy, 0.0%ni, 85.8%id, 1.3%wa, 0.0%hi, 0.2%si,
 0.0%st
Mem: 1016076k total, 986596k used, 29480k free, 21424k buffers
Swap: 3409916k total, 185212k used, 3224704k free, 444324k cached

I want to know what is buffer and cache here, also how can I see my running
processes only?

Thanks and Regards!
