Dear Mohit, As an alternate solution to database server, you could use MySQL and along with it (for the purpose of database modelling, design, and administration) you can have a look at MySQL WorkBench which is again open source and is quite powerful tool for the purposes mentioned in braces. Some amount of tasks as performed by Rational Suite like profiling etc are also provided by Netbeans so in my opinion you might have to use a mix of things to get a replacement for the non-FOSS.
