I have an idea which I would like to share it with the group. I need just 5 mins of yours, please go through and revert back with your views: * * *Concept* I came up with an idea of connecting and working together on a venture which is sort of new and hybrid when it comes to profits, social impact and outcome. *Objective* Let’s build a company whose growth or efficiency is not measured in terms of how much million it made but on how many lives it changed. *Approach* Initially we work on creating a group of people say 15-20 who want to work on different ideas. Once the list of people is finalized we'll have periodic meetings to select the best ones which are shortlisted out of multiple ideas taken from all members of the group. Theme of the ideas will be the ones which will create major impact on society for example like creating job market, talent search, helping startups, environment, healthcare, education, intelligence, art and others which will have a wider reach. . . Once ideas are finalized we design, develop and launch. One unique thing about this venture is we will have very minimum percentage of shares (product specific). The main target should be - how we are changing lives of the people and society. Development of all the products/services will be self funded. The majority part of profits earned will be used to develop next product. But this company will never ever have a social tag. A unique company first of its kind For this we don't need to work full time but part time, spending 1-2 hours a day as each work will be shared by 3-4 people. We can work on giving inputs and contributing to the progress of the selected concept. Selection of people should be from all aspects like right from concept development, product development up till sales and marketing, business development. * * *Team, Recruitment, Vision:* v Get people from different parts of the country v Groups will include people who will be advisors, investors till engineers, business management - the entire flow v Pulling in more people launching multiple products parallely and those people will manage the respective products or services v Number of products/services increase as and when number of people increase v People can be entrepreneurs, people working in companies, students - who really believe in change v For outside world it will be a general company but within the group it'll be a nonprofit company v Main theme behind any selected idea would how it is linked to and in what magnitude it will change the lives of the people, to be specific number of people. v As per terms, company will have directors (product/service specific or group specific), and the ones leading or who are a part of the service/product will have agreements pertaining to responsibilities, roles and shares Ø Creating world class products or services in all sectors Ø First 5 will recruit 6th. . First 6th will recruit 7th and in a similar way first 19th will recruit 20th. . First 20 will recruit next 20 who will work on entirely new product. Ø Expect growth such that 5-10 years down the line we’ll be a unique company with varied products and services in multiple sectors and a group of best brains Ø People will be under no profit no loss format both for money and time....one advantage will be, they can expect recognition on the larger front by having brilliant minds/products/services and with more number of people, the company has to be the fastest growing in its own sector compared to any other. The counts, values and strategies mentioned above are not fixed and will change based on group’s decision Am ready to share 3 of my ideas out of which one is already implemented. Second one is done with design, 3rd still in concept level. 1st is into talent search 2nd is into supporting startups and creating jobs 3rd is into a platform which helps to have a alternate source of business Let’s make it fast track process, have local meet ups and take it forward Let me know your views.
