This is a quick shoutout for India's first "Congress Everywhere", where we (virtually) join an exceptional and fun group of hackers at the Chaos Computer Club in Hamburg, Germany via telecommute, from Dharamsala in India. Dates: 27th-30th Dec. 2013 Venue: Dharamsala (http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/ghoomakad) Well known former speakers at ccc.de include: - Julian Assange, founder of wikileaks. - Jacob Appelbaum of the tor project. Themes for 30c3 (this year's conference) are: - Art & Beauty - Ethics, Society & Politics - Hardware & Making - Security & Safety - Science & Engineering. For more information on the conference, and how to participate, see: https://events.ccc.de/congress/2013/wiki/Hackerspace:Ghoomakad See http://events.ccc.de/congress/2013 for more info and https://events.ccc.de/congress/2013/Fahrplan/ for schedule of the main events. If you have a workshop or paper along these lines that you would like to run/present with us, please send us an abstract. We will collate all requests and upstream them to the main Hamburg venue. We will try to provide live uplinks for selected events. The venue for the event is India's first "eco friendly" hackerspace.
