Hi
What Could I do so that hamster-applet displays the task which I am doing
in the tob bar of debian wheezy.
I tried using all these commands which helped me in ubuntu 13.04 however it
won't budge in debian wheezy :-(
gconftool-2 --set "/apps/hamster-applet/show_label" --type bool "true"
gconftool-2 --set "/apps/hamster-applet/label_length" --type int "20"
gconftool-2 --set "/apps/hamster-applet/icon_glow" --type bool "true"
root@sys:/home/bala# uname -a
Linux sys 3.2.0-4-486 #1 Debian 3.2.57-3+deb7u2 i686 GNU/Linux
root@sys:/home/bala# cat /etc/debian_version
7.5
root@sys:/home/bala# dpkg -l | grep -i hamster
ii hamster-applet

applet for GNOME
