Thanks for the example! I will mull over it. I am trying to learn something partially out of curiosity, partially because I want to write an example-based section of documentation on SYNTAX-CASE, and partially because I guess that there are things about Scheme that I will not be able to understand until I have a mental model of what a syntax object is (for example library phases). But I cannot know for sure until I know.
