In the last days there have been posts (here and there) about packaging stuff for Ikarus, so I thought it was the case to release the following to get a glimpse of what can be done.
<http://download.gna.org/annealing/tmp/nausicaa--devel--0.1--patch-1- src.tar.bz2> It is a temporary URL, the file will not be there forever. The Nausicaa installation infrastructure supports only GNU systems. This means Unix like systems in which the following common tools and packages are installed: GNU Bash, GNU Make, GNU coreutils, GNU tar, Gzip, Bzip2. I am willing to make adjustments (but not revolutions) to make it work on the latest Apple(tm) products. Windows(tm) users should approach me carefully. It is a pre-release, so there are libraries that simply do not work, and something is not documented. However, the SRFI project should work: use it as a test. The same holds for the GNU Readline wrapper. There is no reason to install a package: to get a look at what will happen, just follow the building instructions and, rather than installing, just do: $ make bindist then look in the "bindist.d" subdirectory of the build directory. Enjoy! P.S. I will try to do it myself, but if someone has expertise with building .rpm and Pacman packages: I accept contributions to support these tools.
