Let's say you have the library '(ported irregex)'. That implies a file "ported/irregex.sls" which isn't in it's own directory. So "ported/irregex" can't be a self-contained repository, you'd have to pull out that 'irregex.sls' file upon install.
It's not an issue with a single 'ported' repository. Ed
