Hello all,
I am Fred from Aphrodite in Klub Rasuna who together with Daniel Gendre, manage
Aphrodite and lately we also manage Kinara and Fez in Kemang. Could be another
one soon too. For those who are getting this email for the first time, it is
properly because we were the Platinum sponsors of the Jakarta Bintang AFL Grand
finals for 2 consecutive years now and we hope you enjoyed the day with our
support. Aphrodite is also the home of the Bintangs. The others who are getting
this could be from the Swiss and the French community in Jakarta and also some
who have requested or given Daniel or me your name cards. Sorry English me is
that not good but you will get what I mean especially when I type the email
drunk. Put up with it lah.
Anyway, welcome to my used to weekly email and soon to be weekly (hopefully)
email. I will keep you entertained with useful things, "rubbish" and jokes. The
email will be about what's happening in Aphrodite, kinara, Fez, any special
events (like the Jakarta Comedy Club), things like 'drinks on the house' (I am
sure you will like that), special functions and things or events around town.
The email also comes with some jokes, strange things that happens around the
bars or in Jakarta. If you don't want to receive emails from me, please send me
an email and I will ignore you... Just kidding. Don't worry, I will remove you
from the list.
For those who are not sure about the three place....
Kinara, the Indian Restaurant (Awarded best in Jakarta since 2004) is in Kinara
building 2nd floor, Kemang Raya No. 78 B which is 67.3 meters from Kemang Pizza

Fez, International restaurant and bar (reopened early this year) is in Kinara
building on the 1st floor. Same Telephone number. Open from 3 pm till 2 am
everyday.
Aphrodite, International restaurant and bar (Awarded best Sports bar / Pub for
3 years including this year and also awarded best International restaurant in
Jjakarta this year) is in Klub Rasuna before the Rasuna apartments. Tel: 021
5273307. Open from 10 am till 2 or 3 am everyday.
Chand Garden and Outside catering serving Indian or International food: Chand
garden, on the 3rd floor in Kinara building can be booked for private parties
and also we cater for parties or functions at home office or other events like
the very first A1 Grand Prix where we catered for 600 people at Sentul circuit.

For the rest of the 5400 recipients, sorry about the last email. As I said I
was testing it. Anyway, thank you for some of your encouraging emails and I
guess 2 or 3 even sent it to the others. That's why I said not to reply but
anyway, always a pleasure to hear from all of you. Basically, this email thingy
I am trying out is working but only after I have sent it 3 times it will filter
the bounced emails. This is my second email and so please don't press 'reply'

emails from others, once again sorry for the mess-up. Give me another week or
so then it will all be normal. Thanks to Daniel, he is putting it all together
and its getting there.
