Breaking news at the lat minute always get aggravating, your ready to go home and then Wham, you get hit somewhere breaking news and at the late hour it is never a good story. You find your self getting a little mad, and mumbling to yourself, I was about to go home, why is it always so late. Then as you get the details, you realize that at least you alive, you don;t have a bullet hole in you or a child missing. I always end up feeling like a vulture waiting to feast on the anguish of others, but this is my job and everyone out there wants the news rather it be good or bad and if I am telling it then at least I can control some of what is seen on the air....I have a few Do's and Dont's about what I will shoot. I will shoot what I need to convey the story, I won't shoot blood,guts or the grieving family that does nothing for the story, I also won't go try to interview them, if the family wants to talk they will come to you, that I can guarantee. I also Won;t use a person just standing around to get a sot from (Sound on Tape) Most times they are just wanting to be on TV. I am just glad my bosses feel the same way. 2Can I let you in on a secret? Indifference offers a better return on investment than hate. Mostly because far too many people we might hate are self-involved sociopaths with large volumes of spare time in which to retaliate. I recently watched a friend of mine stand down from a pointless argument with just such a sociopath. He knew there was no resolution in sight and the agitated party called him a coward. I know my friend is not afraid, but an intelligent man who has no interest in engaging a fruit loop with a penchant for bullying. I wish I knew more cowards like that.6
Things are extremely tight right now, with the addition of the 3 new mouths the bills went up as well as cost of food and other items, add to that the rising cost of fuel and milk and well to say the least we are barely making it and I mean barely. I have caught my self walking around the house looking at what we are paying for items like the living room furniture and thinking If I give that back that will save $$$ each month. There are certain things that have to be paid, RENT,VAN,GYM,LOAN FROM MOM. Yes the Gym could be given up BUT I use it and it helps me keep somewhat sane beside it is the one thing that I can do by my self. When B get her training done it will start helping because she can then get as much OT as she can handle without killing herself. We just have to be able to get through the next few months. I know if we can it will be a lot better. We are so close to getting the loans paid off once that is done the waters should calm down a bunch. well I am goona stop before I get even more upset.....thanks for looking in on my world, if anything it should make you feel better about yours......LOL.3 Well, I knew it would happen and it has. The cat B got from her mom has latched on to me, and it is driving me crazy. Prissy will not leave our room for anything, yes she has only been there a week and it will take some time I know. BUT it is driving me a little nuts. If I go the the bathroom she goes to the bathroom, heck if I enter the room she is following me around when I get in bed she has to get in beside me and bugs me till I love on her. Now we have another cat Tuff, he is my cat and has been since he was born in our house, this has really upset him, they sat on the bed last night staring each other down and growling. Heck I hid under the covers afraid the claws might come out and I would be the scratching ground. Now Prissy has decided the only way to get from my dresser where she stay to the food which just happens to be on the other side of the bed is to come across the pillows, it doesn't matter if you are sleeping or not, I nearly killed her this morning when she jumped on my pillow and I was in a fight in my dream lets just say I need to vacuum the cat hair.3Enjoy a better sex life for both you and your partner.
