Notice to BB&T customers,
In order to accommodate our
growth, BB&T has enhanced its Checking, Savings, and Constant Credit
account number structure from a 10-digit to a 13-digit format. This
means
that beginning November 7, 2005 we have added three leading zeros to
your
existing account numbers. This change may effect some BB&T clients.
- After logging on, you may need to validate your account to continue
your Online Banking.
- If you order your checks at your local branch or through our online check reorder, your
checks will be automatically printed with the 13-digit account number
the
next time you place an order.
- If you order your checks from a source other than BB&T, remember to
inform your check supplier of the new 13-digit account number.
- This change will have no effect on any recurring Bill Payments,
automatic drafts, or direct deposits you have for your account.
