Training on Workers Testing of Narcotics,
Psychotropics and Addictives.
Dear Directors,
In fact Narcotics, Psychotropics and Addictives is not
only used by young people, but also used by workers.
It is very common that accident was caused by alcohol
consumption. Unproductive behaviour was found among
drugs addicts. They are frequently absent from work.
Sometime overdosis workers were found. Finally its
treatment and rehabilitation will be very difficult.
The Minister of Manpower and Transmigration RI No:Per
11/Men/VI/2005 on
the Prevention and Treatment of Abuse and Illicit
Traffic of the Narcotics, Psychotropics and Addictives
at the Workplace date 27 June 2005, Article 6 Para
4:"Based on the test as mentioned on para (3) a
medical doctor that has been trained on Narcotics,
Psycotropics and Addictives may decide whether the
workers need a treatment or rehabilitation".
Based on the above regulation IDKI Foundation will
conduct a training, on the Testing of Workers on
Narcotics, Psychotropics and Addictives, in Jakarta,
24-25 January 2006 for Company Physicians,
Occupational Health Nurses, Laboratory Technicians and
Human Resources Managers.
