I'm interested in using a custom AST, but I haven't found any documentation that's up to date and walks through how this is done in entirety. Things I have read speak about creating a custom CommonTreeAdaptor, but they don't provide working examples that I could play with first to see how it functions in order to obtain a better understanding.
