Duration: 6 months plus Location: Irvine, CA Client: (HISNA, Hyundai Information Service North America) Locals Preferred. This is a senior role requiring at least 10 years in IT with 7-8 years of relevant ETL/Informatica development skills. EDW / ETL Developer (3 Positions: 3 Senior Level) SUMMARY: Position will be responsible for administering and optimizing a pre-existing Informatica ETL environment and providing operational support. The position will develop reliable and complex ETL processes to support new development of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Marts and other business intelligence projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for the operational support of Informatica environment including but not limited to automation, job scheduling, analyzing dependencies, monitoring, maintenance, patches, upgrades and administration * Manages and administers systems performance including on-going optimization and tuning of Informatica environment * Supports and enhances existing Informatica environment and develops new, complex ETL processes to support additional design, development and deployment of the Enterprise Data Warehouse, and Data Marts * Assist data warehouse team in completing current data warehouse initiative projects * Analyze and evaluate data sources * Designs, develops and implements complex ETL processes REQUIRED SKILLS: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong organizational and documentation skills. * Strong database analytical skills. * Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle * Total of 5 -10 years related work experience EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * Experience and proficiency with Informatica in a Oracle Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence environment * Understanding of development lifecycle methodology and ability to successfully deliver Informatica assignments * Expert in database concepts, logical/physical design and development * Strong Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL * Strong Understanding of Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence concepts * Experience with UNIX shell scripting and windows batch scripting * Educational qualification: Bachelor's Degree, Experience in Automotive is preferred.
