7-12 years or more of experience.
J2EE, core java, web logic, spring (no struts).
Contract will start out as a 6 MONTH contract but he keeps his consultants
on for a long time.
Looking for someone with a strong middle-tier experience EJB Transactions
Security JMS etc. Exp with heavy computational algorithm or extensive
refactoring. Exp with SOAP and Web Services. Recent experience on J2SE
Swing/AWT in case we need some development done on our client side.
Understands Oracle and SQL. Design complex business logic flows independent
of oversight. Extensive experience with our technology stack: BEA Oracle
Cognos J2SE HPUX. Some experience in Life Sciences a plus. Strong experience
in creating new Web Services and exposing existing functionality as Web
Services. Uses all aspects of Web Services which we are targeting. Oracle
DBA with extensive modeling development and tuning experience not a
necessity. Very methodical and logical in reasoning.
*** Skills needed: JAVA J2EE Oracle weblogic and web services. *** The
client requires the assistance of 2 Java Programmers to develop an interface
via Web Services to the Care360 front-end application. This is necessary as
part of the Single Accession initiative. Currently IDAA Intelligent Data
Acquisition and Accessioning does not have any direct communication with the
Care360 application. This interface will provide the users of the Care360
system the ability to obtain lab specific draw instructions from the IDAA
system. The Judge Group will assign two new consultants both java
programmers to this project. This activity will be performed in three
phases. The work schedule is as follows:
*Design Phase - Includes creation of technical design documentation.
*Development Phase - Includes creation of application and unit test plan by
developer. Developer will also be responsible for execution of unit test
plan.
*Testing Phase - Includes execution of integration test plan.
Develop new applications or make enhancements according to
project needs.
Work closely with the Business and application teams to
gather Business, System requirements and project objectives.
Analyzes the business requirements and develop Technical
Design Documents by identifying the technical services required for
developing the application.
Assist in determining time estimates for assigned projects.
Plan, coordinate and execute project activities to ensure
timely completion.
Utilize programming principles, tools, and techniques to
write application codes.
Develops backend Java utility services using J2EE
frameworks.
Design and develops application features using Java 1.5,
EJBs, Spring DAO web services, REST, SOAP, JAXB, XML, XSD and Design
patterns.
Perform code reviews to identify basic technical and logical
errors.
Executes build and deploy scripts to deploy the application
in required environments.
Develop test plans/scenarios for various stages of testing
including Integrated Unit and User Acceptance testing.
Tracks the issues reported by testers/application users and
fix them in given time frame.
Schedule meetings with development team to discuss about
project status and issues.
Utilizes the following tools for above daily tasks: Weblogic
9.2 and Nexaweb 5.0, SQL Developer, Star team, and power term; eclipse IDE,
ANT, cruise control and Log4j under Windows-XP, UNIX environments.
Work experience utilizing experience in Core Java and J2EE
technologies.
Strong knowledge in application frameworks like struts,
Spring, Hibernate and webservices.
