Yes, I have this problem (an additional linefeed in the header) from one of my IM installations.
I have carefully read mails with hexadecimal editor and there are not additional characters there, then I can not see the problem. Many others of my IM installations (more than 10) send mail without problems. I am thinking to reinstall IM, if this solve the problem, I will notice here.
