It occurred to me that my message wasn't clear so here are some
clarifications: 

- This plugin started as a modified version of the SquirrelMail plugin,
but has been extensively modified for IlohaMail.
- This plugin modifies the SASL standard database (sasldb or sasldb2),
not an SQL backended SASL hack (though one of those is in the works)
- This plugin requires compiling C code for the wrapper to saslpasswd(2).
- This message probably should have been sent to the developer list
instead, so I'm cross-posting and transferring it to there for future
comment.
