Hi folks,

At yesterday's meeting, some of the members raised the issue whether we
could somehow manage to archive certain useful threads from the Linux-india
list. At present Linux-india is too high volume for many of the ilug-cal
members to subscribe to and the signal-to-noise ratio *IS* sometimes awful
these days.

I was requested to handle this "messy" situation. For the sake of our LUG,
I can this service will be provided on a "best-effort" basis and without
any warranty on the QoS provided. :)

However, these threads will not be posted onto ilug-cal list, my plan is to
run this new list off my linux box using majordomo....set it up so that the
mails go out at midnight everyday...the idea being to experiment with such
a setup, and this service will be made available only when I get this up
and running!

Meanwhile, it will be a help if you can give me some idea as to what sort
of info you are looking for from linux-india....and let me know as how many
are interested in recieving such a mail feed every night from selected
posts from Linux India.

Let me know what you think...

Cheers,
--Indra.
