Simple beginnings...it all started with wanting to see what the src for
an OS really looked like. It looked, uh, kinda complex, but interesting.
What was really interesting was that I could actually rebuild the whole
damn OS my way. Well, then again, later on did learn how to build the same
OS in much better ways. 

The understanding of the GPL came maybe another 6 months down the line.
But still feel that loud shouts of joy uttered on becoming the proud owner
of a zImage compiled at home (Yes. Me. I Did It.), embodied the true power
of the OS and the GPL.
