Ankush,
AFAIK, there is no SiS 6251 chipset. What you probably have is SiS6215,
which is a cheap, downgraded version of SiS86c205. Please go through the
recent posts about this chipset (you can access the archives at
www.egroups.com/list/ilug-cal/ ) on the list. Your problem is stemming from
an incorrect resolution setting in your XF86Config file. You can also take
a look at http://www.xfree86.org/3.3.3.1/SiS.html for a few pointers.

Thanks in advance.
I installed RedHAt Linux 6.0 on Cyrix PC with local monitor, 1.2 GB
HDD, 1.44 FDD,Creative CD ROM, and ofcourse Sis Video Card (6251). I
got everything right. Even X window got installed and shows if startx
is given. But it get displayed in large form. Fonts, windows, menus and
everything is going out of display. Please help.
