Olde News really! Have read the PC Week report by Pankaj Choudhry also, 
as well as those flames/posts on Slashdot! The main objection many people 
in the OSS arena have is that the criteria used for the tests do not 
necessarily reflect real-life situations, particularly in relation to 
the web server benchmarking tests.

Still, these tests are a good opportunity for Linux developers to fix 
the areas where Linux lags behind.
