Hi all,
I just got to hear from Rajarshi, he woun't be able to come to this
meeting, as he is leaving for IITKGP this wednesday...so the much waited
for Introduction to X -- Part II is out of the question for the
moment....so what else can have on board as the Tech Theme? Suggestions
anyone?
Arup (Kanjilal) ...something on Servlets maybe.....?? (Suvendra....are u
playing with Java servlets?)

I feel we also need to address the following at some point of time.....
1. A thorough discussion on kernel compilation.....right from d/ling the
src to `make modules_install` ... those of us who are playing around with
the latest stuff should keep notes of the newest options, and the
differences they make.
2. Discussion on what to do with the usually typical PITA SiS
cards...including tips on how to manually add new card in the cardlist
database.
3. Introduction to Staroffiice, and if available Applixware.
4. Wine, VMWARE, Boches
5. "Introduction to Emacs" and follow it up with "Being an Emacs
power-user"

PS. Rajarshi also told me that probably there is going soon going to be a
ILUG-KGP to be started up by the IITKGP guys -- possibly spear-headed by
Manas Laha, who is a member of our list :)
