[ilug-cal] Bypassing passwd

Dear Sumantra,

It looks like the method I had suggested - of booting with "linux single"
 "l single" for your setup) to bypass the password prompt does work.
Though I have tested it myself - this months CHIP also mentions the same
method for trouble-shooting.
