I have installed RH6.0 and Mandrake 6.0 several times and I did not find any
problem
while installing it except for sensing mouse & network card which I solved
immediately
by the list of drivers ( both mouse & network card ) provided by Red
Hat/Mandrake.
When I tried to install ORACLE8 under RH6.0 it failed with "create database
......"
message . I modified the kernel parameters as per Oracle Corp.
recommendation
and rebuilt the kernel and I was successful in installing Oracle8 under
RH6.0.
But I have never tried any thing which is very high tech in Linux.
