FYI, Corel is _more_ interested (wonder if thats the right word at all??) in
Debian..... afterall they are basing their
forthcoming distro on it.

What do you mean by "OS gets buggy"???? This is _such_ a Windows-statement!!!! Are you
aware of the way Linus and the
other core Linux developers have tried to make sure that the Linux codebase doesn't
get forked and go the way of the
BSD effort? And what is this about rushing new releases to the market?? IIRC, it took
about 113 developer releases and
2.25 years between the release of the 2.0 and the 2.2 kernels. Equating third-party
tools/apps with the OS (the kernel)
is lameness/cluelessness of the highest order.

About the statement -- "So solutions to any problems in RH will be provided quickly
than others because of its
commercialisation"... This is so _wrong_ ! Lets just say that that's not the way
things work out in the Linux world.

Please RTFM (docs as well for that matter) before posting such gobbledegook.

Cheers,
--Indra.

PS. To all:

As Linux users and members of an LUG, it is our duty and responsibility to present
Linux and its different distros to
non-users and new users of Linux. A lot depends on what we say (or don't say)....after
all we are responsible for
introducing or bringing many people in touch with Linux for the first time. This is a
heavy responsibility --
advocating Linux is good, but make sure what you say to people is correct. For FUD and
misinformation about linux we
can always depend on our dear, old Bill G and his MS fiefdom.
